What’s this about? On this page we disclose our assumptions, fixed costs, backtests, and sample calculations so you can independently assess whether our tools make economic sense for you. This is not investment advice.

1) What do we offer?

2) Default Settings (Starting Capital)

​

Strategy defaults: Starting capital US$10,000 (≈ €9,000) and a stop-loss (SL) risk setting of 0.3% on US100, 0.5% on Gold, and 1% on DE40.

​

Why it matters: These assumptions make backtests reproducible and directly impact position sizing, margin, and risk metrics. Different account sizes change how fixed costs relate to your deployed capital.

Note: Backtests are hypothetical, based on historical data, and exclude taxes, spreads, commissions, slippage, financing, latency, outages, etc. NO GUARANTEE.

“Is this worth it with €250?”


Your call. Purely arithmetically, with fixed costs of ~€177/month (Strategy Pack, with automation), the cost ratio is very high (~70.8%). This is not a recommendation—just a metric.

“Why US$10,000 as the default?”


To keep backtests/settings reproducible and risk metrics comparable.

​

“Do I need Tickerly?”


Only for automated forwarding/automation. Manual trading via alerts also works without Tickerly (lower fixed costs).

“Are indicators backtested too?”


Indicators are analysis/signal tools—not automation and not a profit promise. No backtest / NO GUARANTEE.
